NHEC - GETTING STARTED IN RIDING
Newton Hall Equitation Centre gives
young people the ideal start by providing tuition, which is safe, interesting and fun. Children of all ages can learn to ride well-mannered ponies with qualified instructors.
Pony rides are available to enable younger children to gain confidence before progressing to lessons.
Pony rides in Christchurch Park, Ipswich
Children can progress to taking proficiency tests in riding and stable management, competitions, gymkhanas, games,
"Own-a-Pony" days.
During the school holidays they can stay for a weeks duration looking after a pony and
ride for 3 hours per day.
